Stonewall Jackson had a penchant for eating lemons, hence the lemons on his grave! I recommend visiting the site before politically correct people insist on the statue being taken down.

This cemetery iis well worth a visit and includes the burial place of Jonathan Stonewall Jackson. It is the resting place of many other local notables, including those affiliated with VMI. Interesting.

This is a must-see for Civil War buffs, with numerous gravesites of CSA soldiers. The graves of Stonewall Jackson and his family are in the center.
