We thoroughly enjoyed walking the garden and looking at the outside of the home and carriage house. With a cost of $8 each we chose not to tour the home.

Our guide was Jerry, he was so knowledgeable and knew many facts and funny stories. Truly a wonderful insight to his life. Thanks Jerry!!

While the house is tiny and many replicas fill the space, it gives you a modest 2 year life of Stonewall Jackson. Very interesting tour guide!

Enjoyed the visit and learning about the Jackson family. The setting is in the heart of the cutest downtown area of Lexington, VA. Parking was free nearby, and people were friendly.

Stonewall Jacksons home prior to the war. Very interesting to see the home of a historical figure. Stonewall loved Lexington and it is easy to see why!

Worth a visit. Informative tour guide leads a 45 min interior tour after a short video. Modest home but great piece of history. Small, lovely gardens & sheds. Gift shop. Perfect excursion for history buffs.

My family and I went on the tour of Stonewall Jackson's house and we were very impressed. The amount of knowledge of the guide was impressive and he answered many questions. We all learned something new

He was a very religious man. He would sit and look at the wall and meditate. He also would memorize his lecture for the following day's class at VMI.
