Our friends did a tour with Southeast Expeditions where you can paddle up to to the vineyard, but we opted to just drive there instead. The wine tasting was inexpensive, $5 for 5 or 6 varieties (and an extra $4 I think for a glass)....More

Went on a rainy day and the lady serving us was super friendly. She gave kids crayons and markers to use while we did the wine tasting. While we prefer more sweet wines we enjoyed the Chardonnay and desert wine as a souvenir of our...More

Let me start by saying the people were very nice! We went in to hopefully catch a tour, but all they do it wine tasting, which was fine, however, there was hundreds of fruit flies flying around that we couldn't stay.

Even if you don't drink wine, stop here for a tasting. The staff was great. They explained the history of the farm and vineyard, and talked about the pressing of each wine. It felt like a welcoming family business and our host was kind enough...More

Excellent winery. Enjoyed the steel fermented Chardonnay and Rose! I live in Chesapeake, Va. Went to this special wine event. I did not realize we had such a great winery within 1 hour or less away. The owners made themselves available to us to introduce...More

Came here for wine tasting and like all of their wines! Sat outside under a tree and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings while enjoying a glass of their Vintners blend along with their generously sized olive loaf and cheese selection. You won't be disappointed, especially if...More

I went here twice while in the area for work. I was extremely impressed by their wines and selection. I am partial to vineyards that grow their own grapes (versus importing) as that is what makes the wine so unique. This vineyard does just that...More

The winery was recommended to me by the owner of a local wine shop. Easy to get to off 13, bumpy driveway leads to breathtaking views. Very knowledgeable wine tasting, you get the background of the grapes and the soil. Tried 5 wines, bought 2....More

Third year stopping by. Servers are knowledgeable and friendly. They give you good info on things to do in the area. The wines are very good. The oak chardonnay and the Vintner's Blend were our favorites.

We visited as part of a kayaking tour which I highly recommended. We had a tasting with Janice who was incredibly knowledgeable about not only their wines but also Virginia wines in general. We enjoyed all the wines but were particular drawn to both the...More

Hello, Yes, there are tours to this vineyard (Chatham) through Southeast Expeditions. We did it and had a great time, well worth it!
