DuCard is probably one of the smaller vineyards around but that doesn't mean that it isn't worth visiting. We had been visiting many of the vineyards on the Monticello trail and now we are branching out to other nearby areas. The first thing you notice...More

Hi Adrian- thanks for your review! I'm glad you decided to branch out to other vineyards- we definitely have lots to offer as well! We do love the beautiful setting here, and there's lots of great hiking in the area too. I hope you were...More

Although it's a bit off the beaten path it's worth 🚗 the extra mile. Serene mountain views in a peaceful setting. Wines are a variety of generally dry whites and dry reds. Their "Shenandoah" was excellent. The tasting fee is $8 per person and their...More

Gorgeous patio along side a babbling brook with mountain views complete with fluffy clouds and soaring hawks in the distance. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a great glass of wine for a perfect get away.

Thanks for visiting. Wine is about personal taste for sure, and there's no right or wrong on it. For reference and others reading this: you mention a lack of dry wines, but our current tasting includes two dry white wines and three dry red wines,...More

by far my favorite vineyard/winery: non pretentious, relaxed and inclusive atmosphere, encouragement to bring your own munchies (though they have a few options for purchase on-site) and tasty wines. have visited over the years and in multiple seasons, always very pleased
