I shared the experience with my grandsons who were studying history in school. It was great for them to be able to walk on the same battlefields as some of the historic people of whom they were reading.

I love going there to walk the trail with my dog. It’s peaceful now, but the informational markers scattered in significant areas helps the visitors envision the battle that took place there.

This was the only thing my new husband wanted to see on our honeymoon. Stopped, power had been out the day before but it was back on. Spoke to the ranger at the small ranger station. Took the drive thru the battlefield and enjoyed “seeing”...More

I live near the park, it's a beautiful walk or run area steeped with history. The park, its facility and scheduled events are always amazing.

The visitor center is small but it tells you about 2 battles and even had a light board to give you a visual. Very good information. Be careful using GPS to get there as we went in a circle.

I love to visit historical places when I am in the area. It is well marked and has plenty of information so that you can get a good idea of what was happening in the area. The surroundings are beautiful.

This National Park Battlefield has a small visitor center/shop with an electronic map to explain the battle and entrenchments. The grounds are well maintained. The walk is nice and the driving tour has 6 quick stops. Kids were working on the Junior Ranger program and...More

We walked the short tour thru the battle field and saw the trenches that were dug for protection over 160 years ago. First we listened to the video setting the background of the battle. The ranger was knowledgable and willing to share the information.
