Chesterfield County in conjunction with the state and other folks have developed the first coal mines in the United State into a wonderful learning park. It's free and anyone with interest in history should visit this park.

I've been to this park several times with family to take an evening walk or exercise the dogs. It's on a busy thoroughfare in a suburban area, surrounded by businesses and residences. On the west side of Woolridge Road there's a small lake called Loch...More

We often go to walk on the trails around the lake. There are usually a fair amount of people out enjoying the park & surroundings. Plenty of parking and the grounds are clean and safe.

This is one of my favorite places to go walking with my family. The walking trail itself is clean and well-maintained, and parts of it go around a beautiful lake with a few bridges. Plenty of picture opportunities along the way as well.

Not far from the hustle and bustle of Suburbanliving, this park is relaxing diversion. A history lesson for visitors as well as long time residents, it is worth taking a couple of hours to park and wander the park.

Nice park with plenty of parking. Nicely laid out trails. Could use a couple of picnic tables. Trails wind around the lake.

Great place to walk yourself or the dog. Especially this time of year. Easy walking, stroller friendly, lake circuit.

Great outdoor location for running, walking or just looking at the small pond in the park. Ducks and geese can be seen fairly frequently and if you’re lucky you’ll spot a heron.
