Striking? Majestic? Visit the monumental National Historic Landmark & discover why photos don't do it justice, nor words describe it, and why the awe-struck Thomas Jefferson bought it. Follow the creekside trail to Lace Falls. Gather around...more

It is a really neat natural phenomenon and VA has attempted to enhance the experience. However, for $7 per person save your money. The waterfall beyond Natural Bridge is a huge disappointment as it is small and not at all impressive--not worth the added walk. The...More

Although I had lived in Virginia for almost 30 years I had never been to Natural Bridge. That was a mistake in hindsight. It is a natural marvel that all Virginians should appreciate and get a chance to see. The state has done a good...More

The natural bridge itself is an amazing sight. Not sure it’s worthy of an $8 admission, though. And the site is not terribly well maintained. Walking trail along the stream was OK, but benches set up for viewing nearest the bridge itself were desperately in...More

The bridge is cool, and the walking trail on the rest of the property is very nice and also has other great views. It is pet friendly.

We checked this out after Virginia Safari Tour and enjoyed it very much. We had kids aged 4-14 and they all loved it. It was affordable, less than $30 for our family of six. The full way is 1.8 miles total and once you get...More

Interesting learning how this bridge was created, George Washington surveyed the land, what is saltpeter, see 1600 year old white cedar tree and the land was once owned by Thomas Jefferson. If you are not able to take the stairs, there is a shuttle to...More

This park just happened to be on my scenic tour to someplace else. I am so happy I stopped, the park was fabulous. Not only was it an easy hike but the trail was well maintained asphalt. They had a Native American exhibit that was...More

Go out to this place and take a 0.9 mile hike thru the bridge. A very easy walk after you get down the stairs. They do have a bus. Come after 10AM and see the recreated Indian village with actors who will speak to you.

The shuttle bus actually has a ramp, not steps. It is fully handicapped accessible. I’m a retired soldier and have problems with my feet from time to time and this bus was amazing and a lifesaver.
