We spent the afternoon here and it was so beautiful. The entrance fee is $5 which may be a little steep for Myanmar, but it is clear that the money goes straight back into the gardens. It was simply beautiful! Great to spend a couple...More

Great for a couple of hours of calm to escape the hustle and bustle. The orchids were out of season and the butterfly museum was just that, glass cases of pinned examples. The fruit tree area and the aviary were very good as were the...More

You can go with car rental or bike from your hotel. I found a new place to visit in there... “Bamboo House” coffee shop is so beautiful and prices are so cheap. Remember to notice that Garden are closed in 6PM.

Very peaceful way to spend 2-3 hours, stroll leisurely through the park. Pretty flowers, large butterfly collection (not live). Meager orchids when we were there. Look carefully for nature's surprises (see the walking stick picture on the leaf!) nice place for a picnic. Not crowded,...More

Very pretty park and a nice place for a walk. I would recommend bringing some snacks and planning on spending a few hours, as opposed to just going through to have a look.

Unlike some of Myanmar attractions it is clear that the entrance fee goes right back into the gardens here. Really nice place to relax and read. Go see the butterfly exhibition - that was great. There's restaurants here and drinks vendors. It's clear that this...More

You find the gardens about 20 min. cycling south east of the city centre. The entrance fee is a little high for Myanmar, for Europeans or US low. The workers have to do a lot of work for the $ 5 fee p.p.. its for...More

The service of the park is questionable. We took a buggy to trave around as we have two small kids. But the they allow is only 30 mts. Which is impossible. So the management must rethink how best they can serve needy customers

This is an amazing huge park area which is very nicely maintained and cared for. There is a fossil museum, a butterfly, birds and orchid collection. Its a kind of romantic place there. You can just walk around or have a picnic there. It is...More
