Sta Cruz Island is known for its pinkish sand and is a good spot for snorkeling and scuba diving, where you can see a variety of corals. There is a sanctuary where you can find a variety or species of jelly fish.

This beach is far from the city but it is worth to travel along with your friends and family. Nice place and good people!

Be sure to do the lagoon tour. It is amazing. A great mangrove filled lagoon. The guide can place a none stinging jellyfish in your hand. A once in the lifetime experience

Use official transport, boat from harbour, dont go by yourself or someone you dont know tell you..bee aware!!. Even the sweetest mouth..can bee a trap..i thinking of cidnaping..its just a advise, so you enjoy 100% - and not get in any conserns in your vacation.

I love it and I will go there again4, you need to ask for lagoon that has unique gully fish beside visiting the village in sta cruz island. Btw it is safe and you have security army around you.

Take a tricycle from the airport to Paseo del Mar. Here you can take a boat to take you to Sta Cruz Grande or Little Santa Cruz (there are two Sta Cruz Islands). It's 20 minutes boat ride from Paseo del Mar to the islands... More
