The islands were actually more beautiful than I thought they would be and there were opportunities to observe wildlife. While i did enjoy seeing the few monkeys on different islands, it was a little disheartened to see them come to the tourist boats when the...More

I went to Las Isletas by myself in the morning. I went with Vladimir Kayak and Tour Services which I strongly recommend. Very knowledgeable, funny, and interesting. I became great friends and even asked him to take pictures of me while on the boat 😊...More

A fun, cool ride with interesting commentary and views of exotic birds and three types of monkeys that are fond of bananas!

I wasn't exactly sure what I'd be doing for the afternoon, but I decided to walk over to Pachamama travel and see if there was a group going on a boat or kayaking tour to the Isletas that afternoon. There was! And they were leaving...More

Definitely worth the 3-4 hours that the boat ride around the Isletas takes... walked the peninsula to see how the locals live there (very different from Granada itself). Also great for nature lovers!

We went with a guide to kayak around the islands. Our guide pointed out many different birds, and he knew all the plants and flowers. There are amazing lotus plants with flowers when we were there. We stopped on 1 island for drinks but they...More

Highly recommend doing a tour by boat, or if you're more adventurous a kayak - although there is quite a lot of surface area to cover. The islets are absolutely beautiful. There are 365 of them, created by a volcanic explosion, each one covered in...More

We stayed at the Isla Zapango for the day. It was such a beautiful experience to see wildlife (cormorants, egrets, kingfishers, swallows, lily pads, etc.). We were in heaven!

You should be able to negotiate a tour of any length. The guides seem more than happy to make a little more money.

You bring US. You can change your money at the bank or exchange from street corner vendors, they're pretty much at the same rate as banks. ATM's will give out one or the other, local or US.
