We visited at the end of August 2018. 3€ adult and 1.50€ child. Cctv cameras are installed so the girl on the till can see just how congested the spiral stairs are. It takes a couple of minutes to walk up the 224 steps, but...More

Didn't want to wait in a line to go up over 220 stairs, especially not after a full lunch. Visited the garden and walked through the surrounding area. The end of the world on Oleron Island.

We drove onto and through the island just to see the lighthouse - took us 1.5hrs and the return 2 hrs (too long). It is really one main road on and off the island. The lighthouse is lovely, though the organisation of getting visitors up...More

It's worth a visit; although it's nothing spectacular. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and make for a pleasant walk around the headland. There is plenty of free parking within a 5-10 minute walk. There are the usual concessions selling food and lighthouse paraphernalia, all reasonably...More
