Lovely people watching on the quayside. Lots going on, lots of shops, bars cafes and restaurants. Mix of pleasure and working oats. It's a community.

Gorgeous town with beautiful views out to sea. Esplanades of cafes and restaurants and lots of twee shops. Great for meal or having a coffee to pass the time of day.

The port is very picturesque, it’s lovely to wander around, look at the boats, there are lovely clothes shops to suit every budget and loads of restaurants for a drink or something to eat.

This is the main town on the island. It has some great shopping, with quality goods. It’s not at all tacky. There are plenty of restaurants and eateries adjacent to the quay area. It’s very pleasant sat overlooking the yachts coming and going. It does...More

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy this peaceful harbour in September. Great place to sit in one of the quayside restaurants and people watch. Quaint little side streets with a mixed range of shops - beautiful scarfs etc. Ice cream a must from La Martiniere....More

One of our favourite places .... the port is so relaxed despite getting busy in peak periods, fab restaurants all around and just a place you want to hang out at. We have been 3 times to St Martin and we hope to return soon.

Ample parking space available within the city walls in the morning in early September. Nice walk through a quiet town. It gets busier as soon as you reach the port. Bars, hotels, restaurants and shops. And lots of boats.
