Very hard to accept that this bridge was built about 2000 years ago, and still standing. I drove my van over it about twenty years ago, but has been closed as local guys were going over in 10 ton trucks, not a good idea. New...More

Nice place to stop off when passing along the D900 road. The old Roman bridge itself is interesting, and there are opportunities to walk along the river Calavon.

We'd seen it 20 years earlier when cars were still driving on it! It still made a huge impression as a reminder of the Roman period here. Our friend took a selfie with the smaller arch in the background which mad it look like headphones....More

The most delicate structure still standing from Roman times and it is delightful and beautiful. And it is still standing because of the open spaces so it never got washed away by the floods - and it was still the main road bridge to Bonnieux...More

Obviously, this is a beautiful first century Roman bridge. It is also a crossroads for walking and biking. Take the time to walk under the bridge and examine its details. Worth a stop.

This is a small ancient bridge in the beautiful valley. There is the bike path nearby, and it's easy enough to scramble down to the water. It's a pleasant diversion.

...not only is it still standing but you can still bike over it. Cars were using it up to 2005. As an engineer I couldn’t help but be impressed.
