Very nice park. There are many Civil War Earthworks to see here along the trails. One can hike over six miles throughout the park. The views of the swamp aka reservoir are very nice. Many and much wild life to view and observe.

Huge urban park. Many trails, picnic areas, canoe rentals, playgrounds. Here looking for birds, this place is great for wildlife viewing.

Extensive Nature Trails allow you to experience nature without a person or another sign of civilization in sight in places expecting the path. I love it!

Great place to walk. 3 miles asphalt track alone side of golf course. You will be walking in the woods under shade for the most of the time.

I used to run the 5 mile loop a lot when training for races. Nice shaded nature trail. I felt very safe and they maintained it well. It was also nice to have bathrooms. The pavilions are nice for parties.
