Explore the small streets and get lost - an amazing experience! The town offers all you need in terms of food and supermarkets. People are super friendly and it's a very laid back and relaxed atmosphere. Make sure to climb the steps to Apollo's Gate for incredible sunsets! We will be back for sure, we totally fell in love with... More

I love old town, nice deco at every little corner. Old town is unique, local people maintaining it very well, the castle.

This is a lovely area to wander around. Plenty of good little shops and markets. Leads up to the castle and archealogical museum and Catholic cathedral which is nice to visit.

Great shops and restaurants among ancient architecture. . . an amazing experience! Put on your walking shoes as there are some steps. . . but well worth a stroll through the mystical, magical narrow streets!

The town is cool but you will want to rent a vehicle to explore the largest island in the Cyclades. Therein lies the problem. The town even in the somewhat off season harbors a bustling little village. Complete with schools and angry protesting students. Students would impromptu block off traffic. The police were quick to break it up but during... More

Lots of narrow, winding streets with steep climbs but well worth exploring by all ages. You never know where the next turn might lead you! Stores, markets, restaurants, houses...unique architecture.

From the ferry terminal area of Chora walking up any street will get you into the amazing maze of narrow streets, steps and eventually up to the Venetian castle. All that area feels like a labyrinth with narrow alleyways and low "tunnels" and arches. Of course, you will encounter cats, small trees and other plants, many of which seemingly grows... More

Lovely walk through the old town of Naxos up to the Castle. Spent quite some time just wandering through the narrow paved streets enjoying the vibe. We stumbled across many beautiful bars and cafes with great atmosphere. Definitely worth the visit if you are fit and able.
