Started from Bomerano to Positano, leaving at approximately 9a.m an a beautiful sunny morning. I was excited and also apprehensive (suffer vertigo). This was a challenge and was unsure as to wether I would be able to complete it. It was a gentle start to the walk, which helped build confidence, along with support of the group I was with.... I am very happy I decided to take this hike, and it was one of the cheapest things we did in Positano. We took the trail backwards, starting in Positano and walking UP all the steps to Nocelle. The sheer number of stairs were insane, and I only recommend you doing this if you are in good shape. However, it... More

Breathtaking views, great walk for beginners and intermediates, you can take it fast or slow and still be able to enjoy what seems like an endless view of the horizon! I recommend to pack some lunch or snacks and water at the alimentarias/butcher shops before you take it! At the end, theres a lovely lemonade stall and the beach is... More

We started the hike from the center of Positano as we were staying at Palazzo Murat. This was not the only deciding factor for our hike to start from Positano. We decided to start from Positano as it would take a long time for the bus to take us to Bomerano and instead we could walk the 1700 steps up... More

We went early in the morning when it was cloudy and it started to clear up as the day went on. The total path took us about 3-4 hours and it was not a physically demanding trip. There are also a lot of nice views though if skies were clearer we may have been better. I highly recommend doing this... More

Gorgeous hike but be prepared to have a lot of hikers share the trail...it is super popular. There are a couple of spots with sheer drops to the ocean a thousand fee below - path is wide enough but if you are afraid of heights, take note.

We loved this hike and found it quite easy to complete. We are late 20s and moderately fit but don't do any regular hiking. We did the hike in joggers/runners/sneakers, no poles or any assistance. From Positano we caught a bus to Amalfi at 7am in pouring rain (there was also a huge storm the night before but the track... More

Absolutely fantastic walk. So many different historical sights to see. From the centuries old rock/cave homes that are still in use today to the terraced gardens, tended by generations of the same family. The views to the coast were unrivalled.

We love active vacations and had heard so much about the Path of the Gods hike. Everything we read said it would take 4 hours. Because we hike a lot we thought it wouldn't take us as long but that's it took right at that. You have to take a bus from Amalfi to Agerola which wasn't too difficult. It's... More

A fabulous day walking with superb views around every turn, drop down into picturesque positano to finish with a gelato and refreshing swim in the sea.
