Parasol and 2 deckchairs 20-35 EUR per day. I recommend by your own parasol for 15 EUR near the beach. In Forio for 10 Euro. As you know in Italy is more smokers and sometimes one of them disturb you. Sea is clear. When waste comes from sea people from Posseidon clear it. There is more people in weekend.

Beautiful sunset. Average beach.
Pros:
1. Stunning sunset. The best on the island.
2. Cheap (20€ for one umbrella, 2 chairs and a sun lounger).
Cons:
1. Extremely tight "legroom" (space between the parasol umbrella is reduced to minimum: they almost touch).
2. The first row of umbrella is so close to the water that often waves wash your feet. 3. The sand is not fine (no sand castles) and the water becomes rapidly deep.
4. You need a taxi or bus to get there from Forio (or anywhere else on the island).

What more could you want. The sand is quite coarse and got red hot but at least it didn't blow all over the place. There are restaurants all along the beach with sunbeds and umbrellas in front of them. They seemed quite expensive but at either end of the beach there is free space, admittedly mostly full of Italians, all of whom seemed to be related. This made it a bit noisy but quite good fun. The water was warm and seemed very clean. It got deep quite quickly so you'd need to be careful with children. Most of the restaurants seemed to have a resident lifeguard but whether he'd rescue you if you hadn't paid for one of their sunbeds seemed dubious.

Spiaggia di Citara is just beautiful! I just came from spending some days at Forio. I recommend as beaches are away from Marina where boats are docked. Water is crystal clear. Make sure you have cash as ATM are scarce. Wound definitely go again. It is a gem.

We are A family of five. We spent one day at this beach. Paid 36 EUR for A small space with four beds and two umbrellas. This beach was not good for small children as the water was very deep

Such a very beautiful island just 10 x 7 kilometres, stunning scenery, also know as the Isola Verde as due to the humidity created by the hot springs it is green all year round. Lovely beaches and great gardens to visit, Mortella and Rvino not to be missed. So much nicer and so much more Italian that it's neighbour Capri

Indeed crowded on mid-July but really nice and full of fun. A good time for families with kids. We actually went to Giardini Poseidon (entry 36 euro adults - 18 children) and in the entrance is also included the seat and umbrella on the beach, which is way less crowded and cleaner than on the other parts of the beach. The price also includes the use of all swimming pools of the Giardini. But you have to walk up to the end of the beach. The reception/cashier of Giardini Poseidon also sells just a beach entry for a more reduced price. A very nice family day.

Dipende dalle zone.
