Motor biking holiday - great passes, road surfaces can leave a bit to be desired, friendly people and great cable car trips

Enjoyed a week of quietness and relaxation in Arabba. It is a small town very conveniently situated at the base of passo Pordoi at about 1600m altitude. Good as a base from where you can explore the dolomites, by car and/or by foot.

Arabba is really beautiful but if you don't ski I think you'll get bored very quickly. My advice is this: hire a private instructor for 3 hours per day (morning) for 3 days and you WILL be skiing! The slopes are the best in... More
