About
Our winery organizes tastings by appointment only. It is possible to organize the tasting of our wines – Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva, IGT and Vin Santo – at the foot of the hill of Montefioralle on our farm. On these occasions, the Sieni family will be happy to spend time with you telling you about our history and describing the special features of our wines.

Excellent tour of a lovely winery
We went on a tour followed by a tasting. The friendly tour-guide knew everything about the estate and the wine-making process and provided us with an interesting insight into the work of an organic winery and the many problems from adverse weather conditions to attacks by pests and bacteria that have to be navigated. The tasting was illuminating and provided a lovely sample of some of the excellent wines produced on the estate. Our many questions on wine-making and the differencies between various kind of wines were expertly answered. The location in itself is a joy as the countryside is very beautiful and the winery sits just beneath the exquisite town of Montefioralle. All in all a very joyful experience that is highly recommended.

    should have stayed longer
We truly enjoyed out visit especially the tour, the views and of course the vino. Came away a little smarter about wines general and Chianti especially. The views are fantastic. We only wished we would have arranged to spend the night there away from the traffic in Florence- check into that if you go.

    Quaint small family vineyard
This is a lovely family owned and operated vineyard. Their Chianti was the best Chianti we had while our stay in Italy. This is a small quaint vineyard with a sweet little history. The food provided with the wine was very nice as well as the view of Montefioralle. It was worth taking a little extra time to visit to little village to us. I would recommend parking in the parking provided by the vineyard and walk to the village from the parking lot as there is limited parking in the village. We found a cafe open and enjoyed splitting a delicious panni while taking in the quaintness of the village. We enjoyed the experience.

    Montefioralle winery
A wonderful experience - a family-owned, smaller operation, gives the experience a much more unique feel. The family has a passion for the process and explains, in detail, their wines and the process from vine to bottle. A fantastic family with a beautiful story to tell. My wife and I loved the experience, coupled with a walk through Montefioralle.

Amazing Winery in the Chianti area of Tuscany
Alessia gave us a wonderful history lesson about the winery and the region. She explained the process from the harvest to the bottling and the aging of the wines. The view from the winery is stunning with its lush vineyards and Olive tree groves. Our wine tasting was an education which we enjoyed with our light lunch. We highly recommend this area as the village nearby has wonderful lunch and shopping experiences.

Fantastic winery and family. We had the good fortune of arriving on bottling day. The father, Fernando, and his daughter Alessia could not have been more gracious. The winery is a small 12-acre family-owned winery which has a long history. The wine is spectacular. If you are looking for an authentic family-owned and run winery, that produces an outstanding wine and welcomes guests, I highly recommend Montefioralle.

The tour of the winery took 10 minutes with pour explanations.
The wine tasting was quite poor, no glass change between wine and wine, no explanations of the aperitive recommended with each wine, neither explanations of the tastes or smells.
If you are looking for a wine tasting experience in the Toscana or for wine taste by a small family supplier, definitely is not the place

Amazing views. The wines were very good and the tour was interesting especially the concrete wine vats. I’ve never seen that before. I would definitely recommend.

The experience was just wonderful. The family is adorable and of course the wine too. We had a lovely plate of food to eat while tasting the wine and would definitely visit again if in the area.

I went with my daughter on a private wine tasting tour. The gentleman who guided our tour was very nice and explained everything about how the wine was made before we started the tasting. This is a family operated vineyard as opposed to a large company owned business. Everything was very good.
