Great to walk around, very well preserved, lots of nice buildings all around it. Every other September, they play a game of ancient live person chess - wold be fun to check that out.

This is a very nice square where this a chessboard. There is a chess game played every 2 years using humans as chess pieces.

Very interesting piazza with a chess board which makes it unusual and special. Lovely coffee dhops and a wonderful view of the walled city.

A common tourists attraction .the ambience alone with sitting and having some cold cuts and selection of cheeses is enough. Beautiful .moderate prices

I suggest to come here to watch the living chess match. However I suggest also to check. In general it is a very romantic place.

Hi, i was not there for a concert so would not be able to give an answer, but I would think sitting at the back would be good as the church is there and would enhance the acoustics, but just a hunch.
