It is a very big beach with a troubled sea. The only problem is the area that sometimes is very foggy ruining the planned day at the beach

Some places are not part of everyone's magazines, publications and places to and be, and São Pedro de Moel is one of them. Thank you all for that! Great beach, good crowd - less conservative than it might looks like for a first comer -, good food and good night spot. Every year I repeat it, no matter the season.

São Pedro de Moel is a very nice village by the coast, located approximately 1h north of Lisbon. The area is surrounded by the largest pinewood forest of the country and the beach is a mandatory stop if you're in the area and want to get some tan or simply take a look at some nice scenarios. The sea can... More

The water it's quite a bit cold but the natural landscape it's amazing. Here you can meet the real ocean.

This is my most favourite place to visit. It's a small town with enough amenities to get by. During the week it's not crazy busy but the weekends get very crowded with local Portuguese beach goers. Surfers out every day. Great for storms in the winter too.

Visited the beach in mid season without tourists and did enjoy every moment there. Cant imagine to go there in the high season. It looked quite crowded in the pictures.

Nice beach if you like some peace and quiet. The beach is quite big, but there are not so many people. A lifeguard is on duty... this is definitly necesarry because the sea is very wild and dangerous. We had a nice time here.

Wild sea, rocky coves, white sand, morning mists, striped awnings, a magical lighthouse, preserved architecture in the middle of the pine forest, São Pedro de Moel has all the charm that Marinha Grande lacks!...Pitty the residual commerce (very few shops, restaurants, cafés, hotels, etc.), but perhaps that is why this place remains so unspoilt... Besides the fact that this is... More

Absolutely peaceful, in the middle of the pine tree Forrest lays this small place with its typical houses and pretty beach. The rich have been coming to this place for centuries and maintained the place traditional, no high buildings...

Great beach placed in a nice little village. Note that the sea in not calm and the water is a little cold. Perfect beach for sports like surf and bodybord.
