NAVAL BASE CRUISES ABOARD THE VICTORY ROVER. Your front row seat to the Naval Fleet. 2 Hour Narrated Naval Base Cruises depart daily from Nauticus, home of the Battleship Wisconsin. The Captain provides a fascinating and entertaining commentary aboard this Coast Guard inspected vessel. Cruising the smooth waters of the Elizabeth River you will see the sights of one of the world’s busiest sea ports including the world’s largest naval base, home of the Atlantic Fleet: Destroyers, Guided Missile Cruisers, Submarines, Aircraft Carriers and more. Up to 150 guests enjoy plenty of comfortable seating, air conditioned enclosed deck, open air shaded upper deck, snack bar and souvenir shop. $20 Adults, $12 Children. Summer Schedule (June – August): 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. daily. Spring (April-May) and Fall (September-October): 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily. 5:30 p.m. available on certain days. March, November and December: 2pm every day but Monday – 9:30am Inland Waterway Tours on Select Days

Loved this informative tour and combined with the USS Wisconsin and Nauticus ticket it was so worth it. It was great to see and learn about all the ships, aircraft carriers, destroyers, subs, etc.

captain knew the harbor well, type of ships, what was being loaded or unloaded, where the shipments were going to or coming from . He also explained each ship in the navy yard, where they were made, cost, function. Found some dolphin.

Wonderful experience from the ease of purchasing tickets, arriving and getting on the boat and then seeing the Nauticus museum. The Captains and staff were knowledgeable and friendly! Very family friendly, my kids loved the boat tour and information! Thank you!!!

It's based on the time of day and year, I would recommend calling them to confirm. However, you do not want to book too far in advance, since the weather could negatively impact the tour.

We stayed in Portsmouth which jis a very short ferry ride across the Elizabeth River from Norfolk and the prices we're 40% less than Norfolk. The Nautless. Museum is we'll worth the price of admission. Make sure you leave... More

Yes you can bring your furry friend along (less than 10-15lbs, i called up front to confirm this) but you would have to stay on the top deck the entire time. I took my Shih tzu, who weighs about 13lbs, and kept him on the... More
