My wife & I opted to tour the USS Wisconsin on a whim while in Virginia Beach area. We paid for the extended guided tour led by Sandy & brought up by Don. Both retired Naval officers who volunteered their time as tour guides. Both were very knowledgeable and great speakers, the extra money from their guided tour being used... More

Wow, I enjoyed this; it is a perfect tie-in with Nauticus next door; you can wander all over this ship and see so much. I recommend it heartily!

Very interesting to get to walk thru the ship. It was extra special to me because it was my brother-in-law''s ship and I could only imagine him walking thru the ship on a day to day basis. No way I could do it! The radio room is fascinating and I was blown away when I saw the ship had its... More

I retired from the U.S. Navy after 32 years, so ship tours are not new to me, either giving or receiving. I purchased a Gold Ticket Interior Tour for myself and my two nephews, one 17 and headed to The Citadel, and the other 9 and very interested in ships. Tour guides Frank and Bob gave us great background on... More

The Wisconsin and the attached Nauticus Museuem were outstanding venues. The Wisconsin was a trip through history as we visited the main level and envisioned ourselves at sea in such confined quarters. The magnitude of galley was impressive. The size of the kitchen cooking machines was immense. The big guns on the deck are massive and I can only imagine... More

The battleship Wisconsin in Norfolk Virginia's Nauticus center downtown is an incredible destination. The VIP tour is well worth the premium price. Our tour was conducted by Matt and Frank who were both great. Excellent explanations of what real shipboard life was like and about the history of the USS Wisconsin.

This is great opportunity to see a battleship which was actually in combat during WW 2. Be aware- there are steps and stairs on the tour.

I am giving this one star because we planned a visit here after driving from texas during Thanksgiving week, only to find it was closed on a MONDAY afternoon for a private function. The hours online are very clear 10am opening until 5 or 6pm....to allow an organisation to use the entire museum and ship for private use is not... More
