This rail station is a short walk from the Vintage House hotel. It is worth the walk to check out the beautiful scenes depicted in the blue and white tiles. The is a small cafe just outside for refreshments.

If you get here by train then you are going to see it. If not it is worth a quick visit. The typical Portuguese style wall tiles are very interesting. It is still a functioning railway station.

Great little station - wonderful tiles at the front and on the platform - easy to pop in and continue your travels. Wish all stations were like this!

Cute little station, a short walk up the hill from the waterfront. Gorgeous blue tiles showing history of the area ... well protected by police warnings not to remove or damage the tiles. Saw the little steam train so cute

Lovely tiles in a charming train station. If you are in the area, it's worth visiting or take the train to Pinhao from Porto or Regua.

We arrived and departed from Pinhah Rail Station. This is a very small and quaint station sitting in the middle of Pinhao overlooking the river. There is a small shop to buy wines, oive oils and other mementos. The tile work is exceptional.

We have done the historic Douro train and it is amazing. It stopped at Pinhão and we had the chance to admire the panels at the station.
