Very nice little train station with tiles depicting scenes of daily life, the wine harvest and landscape of the region. There was also a nice little souvenir and wine shop in the station (where we purchased what else but a nice bottle of port) as...More

We did look at the lovely tiles in this small rail station and the subjects were not war like as the ones were in Porto. Instead focused on local peasant life.

There are a number of well done blue and white tiled murals outside the train station which tells the origins of the town. Very interesting . Worth a look.

A step back in time, amazing tiled scenes decked across the station building. Interesting shop attached, also acts as an occasional bar (but with strange hours)

Madeline and I shared a cheese board which was first rate. Madeline enjoyed one of their ruby red port cocktails. When in Pinhao do your self a flavor and stop in for a snack.
