Nice little tour to learn about the making of port, with a couple of samples at the end, which were lovely. The guide was very knowledgable. This was part of our excellent value 2 day tour ticket

This guide really knew his product. He took time to answer spontaneous questions. The tasting samples are quite large so eat before you indulge.

It is an interesting visit. Guides are very professional and attentive. However it is overpriced even it includes a little wine taste.

We had a bit of a rough start at Calem. We went into the main building and asked about a tasting because we didn't know where their shop/tasting room was yet. And the people at the main counter weren't terribly helpful. The lady actually tried...More

Amazing place! We made a tour inside the Calem listening the history about Porto´s wines, history of the cave, and at the end a degustation of the home´s product!

I think it is worth doing. I think we were in the building for about 90 minutes. There’s an interactive educational area before you go in for the tour and there were young children in thee who seemed entertained. There... More

You don't need reservations but if you are on a tight schedule it's better to do so!
