We visited as part of a wider Port and wine tasting holiday. Sandemans is different from the others and worth visiting to try a venue right in the city

This estate is lovely from the grounds to the cellars. The tour is very informative and the guides are outfitted in the famous Sandeman cape and wide brimmed hat! You'll learn lots about port wine and also get to taste some. Highly recommended.

Excellent place to go to for a cellar tour and port tasting. Great explanation and plenty of history. Tickets are €10 for adults and the tour goes for around 1 hour. Thetr is also two ports to try at the end.

Our tour guide took us to see the many casks in the cellars and to view the history of the place. Finally, we got to sample 3 kinds of port wine and learned a lot about the qualities of each.

I appreciated the wine tasting - although not used to sweet wines...At the souvenir boutique, prices were reasonable...I chose the chocolates, while...More
