Recommend that you take your time to relax and enjoy the entire tour. It can take up to two hours but you can skip bits because it is self guided with a translated audio guide. Very informative and interesting with great wine at the end.

We very much chose Taylors at random, there are, after all, quite a few in Vila Nova de Gaia and we didn't spend time researching. We are glad we did. The reception was very welcoming and helpful. The self-guided tour which they say you should...More

We've been to porto a few times. Done a few port tours but really enjoyed this one. The tour is at your own pace, an hour tops. You see the history of this port house followed by a two taster dry and red port. Location...More

We only arrived in Porto early afternoon and made our way over to the Taylors Port facility and were warmly greeted. The hand held information device did give me a bit of an arm crick but the information was clear and understandable. Slight problem at...More

Make a full day of this. Walk around the windy streets of the waterfront. Have hot chocolate in one of the little cafes (pastel de nata optional unless you’re on a quest to find the perfect one - in which case, it’s at the night...More

We went here for a tour at lunchtime and after clambering up the steep hill I wanted a coffee and something to eat but the restaurant was shut and the only other drinks on offer were the tastings. It would have been nice if they...More
