Had researched this online and intended to visit, after having walked across the top of the Dom Luis bridge. Well worth the 6 euros: no queue, 'pod' to ourselves, 10mins of lovely views along the river and Porto on a beautiful sunny day.

we decided to take this cable car after taking the metro to gaia, This costs around 6 euros per person, the ride lasts a few minutes but it worth it at least once. the views to porto and ribeira are amazing, also the view to...More

We took the cable car on the "return" after visiting Graham's Lodge. It not only saves a walk but leaves you at the upper level of the Dom Luis Bridge. With cars every minute or so, you're likely to get a car all to yourself...More

Trip takes about 10 minutes - cost was 6 euro It is a good way to get up the hill from the river ; and the views are well worth the effort.

It's a short ride and maybe a little pricey for what it is but provides a pretty good view and is a bit of a novelty if you haven't been on many cable cars. Wouldn't do it again.

Very nice to have the cable car as we could save our legs lol it's true that you have to pay for it but on my point of view still worth for the time you save and the experience you have with view.

Best way to get up the hill from the river to walk across the Douro River on the higher level of the Bridge. You get a free ticket to taste port. Don't bother invest in a proper tour of a Port House. Sandeman's do an...More

A short and underwhelming experience but definitely the best way to get back to the bridge if you need to cross over after a long hot day of port tasting!

Well worth the price of 6 Euro one way per person plus a taster of a port wine included. Helps if the wife doesn,t drink. Two churches to be visited in the area of the Port buildings.
