It's a lovely church with a vibrant congregation. The singing is stunning and mass includes both Spanish and English. The priest is welcoming and authentic. One of my favorite catholic churches in Spain (and I have attended many). Lighting a candle is good but going...More

Rest for a while and spend for a candle! A quiet place with some paintings. It is a small church and I recommend it to escape from all the commercial stuff outside.

The church of Santa Maria is more or less in the middle of the pueblo but is such a wonderful quiet and peaceful place to visit. Pop in and out a few euros in their tin.

So inspiring and peaceful. The simple sculptures are awesome and indeed you are drawn into the imagery and lose yourself in a different world. So cool away from the raging sun

Small and unassuming in the center of the village. It's often closed, but even when you can get in, there is little to see. It's small and plain inside.

I have not seen a wedding here. Only been to Sunday mass. I imagine you could talk to the priest there and ask. If I wanted a lovely church wedding in Spain I'd pick a church like this one.

Not sure but we have been there during the week and it appears to close for a few hours in the afternoon from about 1pm. Sorry don't know in detail.

Sorry I am unable to help here. Perhaps you could ask locally when visiting Old Town - Mojacar Pueblo. Thanks, Clare.
