We were lucky enough that someone had just left and so grabbed a parking space right beside the entrance. Parking again very difficult and very very steep so again perhaps be dropped off.

When we are in Mojacar we buy water once then fill up at the water fountain which is lovely fresh and free. Business opportunity for someone to provide bottles that can be returned.

Had a walk down from the top of the village, it’s a nice walk and we filled our water bottles for the walk back, it’s quite steep but doable.

We walked up to the Pueblo from Mojacar Playa, which takes around 45 minutes and is a steepish climb in the sunshine. The spring in a courtyard is somewhere to cool off (slightly) and rehydrate. A few locals there were filling up everything from 500ml...More

The Fuente(fountain) is spring fed. Since 1466 of before apparently. When I first visited in 1975, the ladies of the village also did their laundry there as well. No more laundry these days, but water can be had from numerous spouts. Save the planet. Cut...More

This is a lovely wee place and very well presented with marble and historical plaques. A never ending stream of locals filling their water bottles can’t be wrong - this water is delicious.

It's a drive from the centre to the old town. Our friends drove so I am not sure of directions. Plus parking is at a premium. You could try Mojacar buses website. Sorry I was not allowed to include the link here. Thanks... More
