We stayed some days in Teruel and did daytrips to the places around. One trip we did to Albarracin. At the entrance of the city are a lot of free parking places. Start here with exploring the city by foot. There is a tourist information on the main street that can give you the most important information about the city.... More

If you are any where near this area a visit to here is a must. Coming from Teruel there is parking by the bridge and a tourist info location there. you can get maps and info for the city before you head off for a wonder around. It is a very hilly city with loads of steps but it is... More

A very beautifulll and historical site. Not only is it a village with traditional architecture, but it is located in a spectacular location and has numerous monuments and museums to visit. There are beautiful walks along the river and very close a route through the pinewoods of Rodeno with prehistoric paintings. It is an essential visit and is located very... More

Did a trip to Dinopolis with the kids and decided to take in this recommended village on the way back. Was very tourist oriented and while pretty was quite a drive. We visited on a Sunday and would recommend any other day as a lot of places were closed.

The approach to Albarracin from Teruel is very interesting. It begins with vast plains of agricultural land. A few miles outside Teruel you will see strange objects sticking up from the flatness of the landscape. As you get closer you realise that these are the tail fins of jumbo jets in various airline colours. You are passing one of Spain's... More

We passed through Albarracin on our way to the Peracense Castle. It's a very nice and small town, really worth the visit.

This is most definitely a 'must see' place. It is an astonishing medieval village/town. We actually went on a fiesta night so the place was humming with loads to see and do. The place is unique with ancient houses, phenomenal views, friendly people, great food and drink. If you are anywhere within 100 miles you HAVE to visit. It's mind... More

Very quaint , lovely old buildings , worth a trip, but don't bother to find the water falls, difficult to find a little disappointing , took a long trip round back to Teruel not worth it.

It is arguably described as the prettiest town in Spain and it certainly is amazing. One of the best things is that it clearly not been over commercialised, obviously there are some lovely local shops, bars and restaurants but they are very understated and actually need hunting out. We stayed on a local campsite which was only a short cycle... More
