Nice, emerald green water, few sunbeds to rent and beach bar with snacks (adults only). The beach itself is small, surrounded by many hotels, so there is a crowd of people both on the beach and in the water, which is not that clean at all. Close parking and showers available in the restaurant 50m from the beach (kids can eat here, but the restaurant is expensive and food untasty, not recommended).

Cala Esmeralda is a small sandy cove enclosed between rocks. The water is clear and a few meters from the shore it becomes blue. There are a few sunbeds about 30 meters from the shore which cost €7.50 each. The rest is a free beach, for those who want to plant their umbrella and put up their towels: the only flaw, like all the coves in the area, is that in high season it is extremely crowded. There is a nice bar with clean toilets and showers and there is parking nearby. However, it is worth a visit.

This is a very beautiful spot, it’s more adults and young couples and children that don’t need prams.

There are lots of steps and has no wheelchair accessibility, it’s a long way down with a pram but is possible. The beach itself isn’t that big, we went on an evening or on sunrise when it was quite.

It really has amazing views, there where no showers or public toilets on this beach.

We were very surprised at the cost charged €3.00 per day for the safe plus €3.00 deposit most other places we have stayed recently have been free or €1.50 per day. If you want pool towel you will be charged €15.00 deposit & a daily rate of €1.50, never before have we been charged a daily rate for a towel! When you pay the extra to book a Superior room these charges do seem high, luckily we only needed the safe! By the time we checked in & paid the safe & tourist nightly charge we were just over €70.00 for the 2 of us. One good thing the pool & beach bars were reasonably priced.

Had a short break here to relax after a busy cruise. Lovely hotel, extremely clean. Staff all excellent, very professional and friendly, always busy and checking in with you that all is well. Inurotel is a big group of hotels and apartments, this hotel is the adults only part of the complex. Beach club pool was always busy, but we found always managed to find loungers mid morning (any later and you might not!). No poolside drinks service but you can take drinks to your lounger from the bar. Gorgeous view over the bay. The beach was very busy and only had a few loungers available at an extra charge. Our room was basic but had everything we needed. Large walk in shower (did mean the bathroom floor could be slippy to beware). Breakfast was lovely (included a glass of Cava if you want it!). Easy walking distance into the main part of Cala D'or with lots of bars and restaurants. Good parking nearby if you are hiring a car. Spa looked beautiful but didn't use it apart from to shower/change before flight home. Would recommend.

About a 15 minute walk from our hotel…lovely beach, crystal clear sea…only spent a morning on here as it got too crowded for our liking. Pre covid we would have been fine but still apprehensive about people getting too close. Definitely recommend

Gorgeous beach, great for snorkelling. Slow shelving beach which is great for kids. Excellent beach bars around it. A shower facility is also there. You can get the green local train that stops here too which is stop 10. Great fun had by all here.

The beach is beautiful, the waters are crystal clear. The only problem is where the waves break with the sand there is lots of plastic. Which is a shame. Also you can see the pollution from sunscreen. You’re able to cliff jump and snorkel. No current and little waves do very safe for children. Also the beach is quite small so I would say arrive a little earlier to get a place, especially now due to Covid.

We stayed nearby and popped down to the beach and the sea. It was busy but very clean. Two nice beach bars. We came down late one day and sat there until the stars came out as the beach emptied. Fab location.
