Most certainly worth a visit for a mellow amble back into the past - posible not great for children, but the gardens and simple style of the house are unique part of history here.

Not to be missed. The video shown before seeing the house is excellent and sets the scene well. Take time to see the house as there is a lot of detail to take in.

And listen to the video first, it puts the author and his house into context. Small personal house with wonderful garden. Both well worth seeing.

looked after by his son its a treasure trove of memorabilia with a film of his life and history - there is a car park turn in immediately after the house

Beautiful and very interesting. Only spoilt by the very unpleasant and unhelpful caretaker who obviously has no interest in what she does. She provides no help and shuts everything up early so get there well before 4pm. The rating reflects the service not the site

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. The house that has been turned into a museum, looks as though Graves might return any minute, since his waistcoat (that you see in the short and informative video) is still on the back of his chair. He led...More

Whether or not you know of or like Robert Graves the author, this home is a MUST. It is a lovely example of a high end Mallorcan village house, with beautifully preserved typical kitchen and gardens. To be able to walk through the property, with...More

There’s not much to do in Deià but Robert Graves is one of my favorite authors so I decided to stop by. It wasn’t really worth it. It starts with a video that makes Graves sound a bit arrogant. He mentions his wife was a...More

We are sorry you were disappointed by your visit. If you are already familiar with Robert Graves then perhaps the video may have made Graves seem 'arrogant', however many of our visitors are new to Graves' life and this is a very quick recap of...More

Get a bus from Palma to Deia (going towards Soller). The bus stops by the Residencia hotel and it's a 5 minute walk from there. His grave is in the churchyard, If you want to make a longer trip, get the scenic train from... More
