About
Our winery, which is located in Santa María del Camí (Majorca) and contains the latest facilities, machinery and advanced technology, develops 70 hectares of vineyards in order to prepare excellent wines that display the special characteristics of the land and the varieties native to the island (Mantonegro and Prensal). To this end, we have a highly qualified team of oenologists and grape-growers to make Macià Batle the benchmark Majorcan winery.

Lady that delivered tour didn’t know anything. Lovely and smart young lady with bright future, she had been in the job for three weeks. We asked how long whites mature in barrique, she had no idea. Crianza 12 meses, reserva 24 ,good. We asked how long colección privada or gran reserva. No idea. And that was the case with most of the tour. Again, nobody could have been prepared to give a proper tour in three weeks. she did an outstanding job. The problem is the winery. They shouldn’t put her on the tours unaccompanied, while she’s still learning.
Also, when the tasting came, all six of us concluded that both whites and roses were too warm. An Inappropriate temperature in a tasting? Really?
Wines were mediocre at best. Not buying any Macía Batle ever. That’s my conclusion after visiting their winery.

Very easy to book a tour online according to your preferred time and language and I had a confirmation response very quickly.
The guide was very informative and made a lot of effort to give us the best experience. We learned a great deal about Mallorcan wine as well as enjoying the tasting.

We visited this winery with our cruiseline (Seabourn) and it was truly a wonderful experience. I have seen many wineries in different countries, but this was really different. We actually got to go into the cellars and see all the bottles stacked (and full), as well as the barrels. There is also some amazing art, and examples of the art used on the wine labels. The tour guide, Rebecca, was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We had the most amazing spread of food and wine to taste, and were even given a lovely gift when we left. To top it all off, we were entertained by the owner playing the bagpipes!!

Very pleasant and quiet reception by Pamela. Our private tour (we were the only ones for the tour) was very interesting and fascinating to experience. Our questions were answered quickly and expertly. The tour was followed by a delicious tasting, with the necessary explanation by a smiling Pamela, and this together with tasty snacks that perfectly matched the wines on offer.
Also ordering and delivering to our address was no problem. Our ordered wine was delivered perfectly and unscathed to your home a week later!
A top experience for us!! And a big thank you to Pamela!

I’d booked ahead for the 12:00 but the other part didn’t turn up so I had the tour to myself. There isn’t that much to see, it a modern industrial factory but the guide was very knowledgable and helpful.
After the tour, you are offered a sample of wines which appeared to to tailored to my personal preference, and the tapas included was paired to each wine (so wait until you’re told). The station at Santa Maria is just a few street away so i was able to use public transport and could enjoy the wine offered in full.

We always try and get a wine tasting in on our holidays and following a recommendation on the trip advisor forums we went to Macia Batle. The winery was so easy to get to, just a quick 20 minute train ride from Palma Station and a 3 minute walk.
There were just 4 of us in total on our tour which included a look round the facility, including explanations how everything works etc, then on to the tasting itself, we were given very generous glasses of white x 2, rose, red and dessert wine with accompanying nibbles. The wines were fantastic and we were given an explanation what everything was. A great late morning/early afternoon out and well worth a visit.

We visited Macia Battle for the second time in January 2023 and, as before, had a lot of fun and were able to taste delicious wines. The tour is interesting and entertaining.
The tasting was so nice that we have since found our favorite rosé.

Macià Batle is a winery located in the entrance of Santa Maria del Camí, a little town 15km far from Palma, in Mallorca Island. I came here to see the shop and taste one of his wines (a red sparkling wine). Really, the shop is very nice and you can buy some interesting things. However, the wine is ok, not excepcional. The facilities and vineyards are very beautiful, so a visit inside is very interesting.

We had a tour and tasting here with a large (too large) group from the ship. Nice staff and good wine, but they should control the crowds better. The rose was super. Reasonable prices. Well outside the city of Palma.

Went on an excursion when we were in Spain last year. Got to see how the wine is made. Had a wine tasting with their different wines and olive oils. Brought 2 different oils back to the US. Should have brought back more. This is a very good tour and well worth the time.

Please can someone let me know how long the tour takes? Thank you
Written March 19, 2018
It took us about 2 hours in total, but it will all depend on how many go around at the same time - well worth it though, best vineyard we have ever been to on the island
