It was an experience visiting Salvador Dali's home. It is nestled in a cove only accessible by car. His home was originally seven fishermen's cottages which he joined together into one building. The building has an olive grove with lavender bushes growing beneath the trees set at the back of the house overlooking the sea. Such a beautiful setting. The... More

we walked here from Cadeques a busy little place - quirky and plenty of free stuff to do if you don't want to queue for the house

A visit to Salvador Dali house must be cherished by anyone who loves art. When you are inside you will know what was the setting that created some world class paintings...there is art in the air...even the view from windows simulates paintings...

While in Cadaquez, one simply cannot miss out on Dali´s house and olive garden right the middle of Port Ligat. While I am not a huge DaIi fan, the tour through the house was great and the explanations of our guide extremely interesting. The house is, according to the guide, in exactly the same state as it was when Dali... More

This is the most fascinating Artist's home I have ever toured. It is a must if you have any interest in Dali, art, or visited his museum in Figrueres. Be aware though, that if you are on a tight schedule in Figrueres, you might have difficulty getting out of town on time. We had to wait while the streets were... More

Purchased tickets online before trip to Spain, arrived on time but little signage, no parking, walked around bay to entrance, but told that we missed our 11:30am entry by 2 minutes! This is a little house in middle of no where and this froggie woman was not considerate at all! So, the manager gave us 12:20 tickets or cancel without... More

We had a guide that brought us through the home. It was great. Explanation is very important if you are introduced to Dali. Had a great time.

Dalì was a weird dude, yes, but his art is really thought provoking and interesting to look at. I am not normally a fan of museums, but this was, by far, one of the best museums I've been to. Every piece of art invoked something in me. It's not just lines or splashes of color on a canvas. It's strangeness,... More

If you come to Dali land this is a must visit. The house is as it was when Dali left. Really interesting and very different as is the garden with its artifacts. Recommended that you book in advance. After Port Ligat go up to the Cap de Creus lighthouse. Great scenic area.

Can be busy in summer. Best time to visit is Spring or preferably September after the kids go back to school. Cadaques is fairly remote & a truly stunning coastline. Much mre to see here than just this Museum. You'll be rewarded by looking outside this box. :-)
