After a long trip to Cadaqués, on a difficult road, pouring rain, hard visibility, we arrived to the most beautiful place on a small bay where Dali lived. The landscape is fantastic, the town itself is wonderful, paved streets, small shops, gorgeous views. What a...More

Pre book if you wish to visit the house, when we arrived there were no vacancies for the following week and although disappointed the visit to the gardens is equally impressive.

Amazing destination in Cadeques but a lot of Dali's stuff is in Figueres. Book ahead long way to come to be disappointed by not getting in.

We saw this as part of an all-day Dali tour. It was fascinating. Only 8 people are allowed in at one time, so it's an intimate opportunity to see where Dali and his wife lived for so many years. You can see some bizarre films...More

I had been looking forward to this visit for some time. The location is beautiful with all that one expects from a Mediterranean coastal site. Entrance to the house is by a timed ticket and it appeared that a fresh group was admitted every 20...More

In this museum you can see where dali lived ... at about 10 gbp per person and we'll worth it. After the house which takes about an hour you can either drive or grab the tourist train (roughly hourly) up Into the hills for views.

For car rental, there are several in Figueras (Europcar, Budget, etc) and in Girona. Driving should be straight forward, but make sure you have a good GPS if you want to make the Dali triangel.

I think you have the answers to your question above. I would add that I believe it would be a mistake not to give Cadaques a bit more time. Consider spending a night or two there.
