Parc Samà is a garden with memory, a Mediterranean orchard, a poetic forest, a melancholic palace…

Parc Samà is the summer residence that in 1881 built Salvador Samà, Marquis of Marianao, between Cambrils and Montbrió, surrounded by vineyards, olive and almond trees. It is the legacy of an ‘Indiano’, a fusion of styles and a delight for the senses.

So disappointed with Parc Sama. The car park should have been a giveaway, three other cars in the height of the season. Tickets at €4.50 per person and for what? A lot of dead and decaying leaves, fountains that didn't work, an aviary with four cockatiels in, a house you could not look in and so the disappointment went on.... More

What a shame that what was once a beautiful house and zoo has become so neglected. Saying that it was well worth the 4.50 Euros which I think is used to maintain the walkways etc around the ponds. When you enter you are given a folded sheet of A4 giving the history of the park and a map of the... More

Absolutely brilliant and beautiful place. It looks like it has not been maintained well for the last couple of years, so the park some become a bit wild. I would say - a bit of Secret Garden type of thing. I recommend going there for the views. It's also a good place if you want to take a bit of... More

What a nice place to visit! Just 10 minutes drive from Cambrils. Green and quiet. Nice colonial style house and park with exotic trees, lakes etc. It's rather small but worth a half a day visit with your kids. Here you also find small horses, birds and other species which is funny.

I may have missed it here but other than a few novel features it offered little. Perhaps I went at the wrong time of year. The one thing that may have been worth seeing, the house, was not open. I'd be reluctant to go again.

So.... Visited this little park today. OK there are some below average reviews about it but to be honest you need to look beyond the 'run down' look, compared to what. The house is indeed closed up and some of the aviaries could go completely but that is what things are like in Spain, look at the resorts on the... More

Took a trip here whilst staying at Cambrils Park Resort, we took a taxi which took about twenty mins. Cheap to get in, no cafe so take drinks although reception sell few bits. Beautiful water features, caves, waterfall and a little play park. Some parts run down but well worth a visit for few hours

Great place to go if you want a break from the beach, very pretty. Definitely take lots of bread as the peacocks will follow you round the park looking for food. We went on a slightly over cat day which was probably best as we still got very very hot. Don't forget your camera it is great for some interesting... More
