Nice wide pistes

Nice wide pistes with quite a lot of steep bits - offering quite a thrill without being too challenging-

Great skiing with "state of the art" lifts and gondolas providing access to a vast choice of runs. Great choice of mountain restaurants and great for intermediate and advanced skiers.

The slopes were absolutely perfectly prepared! Large area with lots of variation although generally relatively steep. For good skiers and boarders a huge beautiful ski-area with lots of bars and restaurants. For less practiced skiers maybe too much. Betelberg is apparently better for them and for families with children.

Great skiing. Fantastic new cable cart right up to 2000 metres with excellent pistes. Many snow canons working when snow is insufficient. Great restaurants and bars. Good connection skiing to Buhlberg. Good skiing for all levels (black, blue and red pistes). Not suitable for young children who are just learning to ski though. Better to go to Betelberg as there... The Metsch ski area has several wide, long, not too demanding slopes, which allow for beginners and intermediates. The best feature is the easy access to the Adelboden ski area, which is included in the ticket, and which has much greater area and variety of runs
