Very interesting museum with well laid out exhibits on the history and construction of the famous Albula line. It is situated literally a few steps from Bergun Station and the local Tourist Information Office is in the same building. The displays included information on the...More

I especially enjoyed the short movies on former workers at the various train stations. Fortunately there are English subtitles. There is much subtle oral history to learn from these video recordings; absolutely fascinating. Besides that, wander and see what interests you. But leave yourself extra...More

In front of the museum stands a locomotive with workers car. This track is connected with the railway. You can watch the whole museum in about an hour. Opening times start at 10 am daily.

There is plenty to see and read in this museum that tells you the history of the railway and Graubunden. Did you know that cars were banned in this entire area for several years?

Spent a lovely couple of hours here and only left as I had a train to catch. The entry floor exhibits are decent although the actual model railway wasn't running when I was there. Still, the interactive exhibits and video exerts upstairs more than balanced...More

This museum offers a deep historic development of the railway and also includes a scale model of the Rhaetian railway. This model started off as a hobby, and as the complexity developed it found its place in the museum. It's small, so not as many...More

This musuem tells a story rather than simply display railway relics. The development of the railway is fascinating and well told - allow time to read the story boards and view the video clips. There are some relics in the basement but not what a...More
