A truly delightful experience with beautiful scenery and wonderful mountain vistas renown for being one of the best railway journeys in the Alps beginning in the small Swiss town of Martigny and terminating in Chamonix.

To travel up and down the valley Saint Gervais to Chamonix and Martigny the best way is to take the train. Free with a guest pass from the hotels.

This is a wonderful way to get to Switzerland from France, or vice versa. Comfortable, great scenery, not that expensive (for these parts). Worth doing.
