A great place to visit either on your own or with a family or friends. Trails are wide enough and graded enough for strollers or children's bikes.

This park has large areas of ancient woodland and heathland meadows. The former claypit is being returned to nature (with woodland and wetland areas) and the wetland ponds have many species of dragonflies, which breed in the park.

Yes there is a dog swimming pond there. as you enter take the path left and is signposted., it has a small ramp slipway into the water so the dogs can get in and out easily.
