I was let down to find nothing left standing apart from rubble. I mean, I have been to worst castles but this ranks in with my collection. Nice walk with blackberries if you want to go blackberry picking. Wouldn't recommend

If castles are you're thing then Newcastle Emlyn is certainly worth a visit. Built in the 13th Century and lots of walls still standing. Cheap parking nearby and town worth a look round.

Great place with lots to do . Pubs restaurants and an array of old fashioned shops full of one off little gems. Historic castle ruins very interesting.

Small fee for parking. Castle grounds and a nice garden walk with benches and lake below. The little village has some nice shops too.
