I stayed in Twillingate for a long weekend and nothing was really open. I called the Brewery and inquired if they were open and they said yes and stated their hours. We went to enjoy some brews and were not waited on. We had several servers walk by and did not respond to our "hellos". I went up to the bar and asked about buying a Beer glass for a friend and was asked did I have a reservation? I said no and she told me we had to leave as they were taking only reservations. There were several tables available and only three couples sitting. I asked why I was not told when I called earlier and the server just shrugged. Poor customer service and will NOT go back.

Disappointed right from the get go. Party of 4 and they gave us only 1 menu, Asked for more menus and again got only one. Decided to do some craft beer testing and received just a dribble in bottom of a big glass. Where are the sample glasses most micro brewery’s use?
Ordered 20 wings and an order of Nachos to share
Wings were dry and crunchy lacking flavour with very little sauce drizzled on top. Nachos were way over heated and all stuck together and hard to get off of the paper. Difficult to rip apart.
Then the bill was very $$$$$ for the quality we received. Not impressed at all
Take your chances but, we wouldn’t ever go back
Not on our recommendation list

Upon arrival the brewery was full. We were told it would be a bit of a wait and we could wait around outside for a table to free up. It was maybe 10 minutes and someone yelled out to us that a table was free. We ordered a flight of beer each, beer was good and we ordered a 4 style of chicken wings. The wings were absolutely delicious. Our original server's shift had ended while we were there so we were being "taken care of" by someone else. She was only interested in chatting with her friends, eating cake and drinking beer. She walked past our table numerous times and my partner was singing out "EXCUSE ME" and she would just ignore us. No one came back to ask us how our food was. We would have stayed and ordered more drinks but we just wanted to leave after the experience.

End of the season, I get it, but not happy at all, my 3rd visit there since July, 1st visit in July was awesome, last 2 times not at all good, sadly I'm not likely to return or recommend others to visit. Food was yet again very disappointing. 🙄

We visited here on a girls weekend. Nice place. two of the girls had a beer and it was good, we all ordered food (pub grub). The food was good, reasonably priced and good portions. The service wasn't exceptional but we noticed that in several places we visited this year in particular. It seems everyone is overworked and understaffed and many have an "it is what it is, take it or leave it" attitude but we still made the best of it.

Went in on Sunday for a late lunch. Had very tasty nachos/ poutine. Enjoyed a refreshing APA. Listened to some skilled local musicians in the open mic acoustic afternoon. Too chilly to admire the view from the deck, but the place was friendly and comfortable.

After our hike at the Twillingate lighthouse it began to rain so we came to Split Rock Brewery. A nice place to stop at and wait for the rain to end. You can get a flight of beer, which is the best way to try any local brewery. They had a raspberry beer (Razzie) which was my favourite!

What a surprise to find such a cute little craft brewery in Twilingate. The beer is all good. and the setting and patio are fabulous. We relaxed on the deck after a long day of driving and melted into the Twilingate vibe very quickly. Just another reason to explore this amazing area of Newfoundland.

I really enjoyed the beers here, especially the Citra - it was soooo good! Nice atmosphere - I like that they have live music, and I met one of the owners who was very friendly.
