Just a piece of magnificent man made nature. This is one of the most magnificent places to see in Twillingate. The photos here are just amazing. Well worth the trip and to us a must see when here.

Drive to the lighthouse for some great views. We saw whales pretty close when we went. Icebergs in the distance. We took the trails down to the coast. Could use better signage on the trails.
Cute souvenir shop with icecream.

When we arrived at the site it was foggy, so we went the next day. It offers stunning views of Twillingate and, if you're lucky, you can spot icebergs from the viewing platform or on the way to the lighthouse.

We visited on a foggy, windy day and the lighthouse was closed, but we were still able to wander the grounds and y the oil photos of the outside of the lighthouse. The terrain this lighthouse is perched upon is incredible, with deep, high clefts carved into the earth, and waves crashing below its very dramatic.

One of the most beautiful viewing points on the island of Newfoundland. Beautiful small gift shoppe. Small museum at the lighthouse. Some amazing hiking if you are up for it.

Unfortunately the morning we headed to the lighthouse we were unable to see anything due to the fog, but it was neat to hear the foghorn.

A beautiful place to visit, and some amazing vistas out to the sea. Several short trails to meander and take in the view. It is worth a stop if in the area!

OMG the views were spectacular. And there were many whales in the bay. The views from the top of the lighthouse were amazing as well. There are hiking trails nearby too.

The Long Point Lighthouse is a must see while visiting Twillingate.
We enjoyed doing the 1.6 km hike to Nana’s hole. This hike gives you many amazing vistas.
We enjoyed taking photos of the lighthouse from the front and also the back side. We returned to see the sunset and also the full moon rise. Very stunning!
Another must do is a trip to the little Fudge/Icecream/ and gift store!
One downside is there are no public washrooms, unless you pay $ 10 to tour the exhibit.
Enjoy!

Another of Newfoundland's wonderful lighthouses. It was really cold and windy when we visited. Take warm clothes just in case.
