This is a nice lighthouse and it also offers the Johnson Geocentre Titanic display/exhibit for a few of $5 per person. Children under 5 years old are free. They accept cash only so I was glad one person in our party of 9 had cash! The young man at the desk was also very nice and obliging.

The exhibit does not have all of the artifacts that were present at the original exhibit at the Geocentre, however it is well done and worth reading through if one has the time to do so.

On the day we visited, it was choppy on the water and windy, not detracting from the rugged romantic feel of the Lighthouse

The Long Point Lighthouse is a must see while visiting Twillingate.
We enjoyed doing the 1.6 km hike to Nana’s hole. This hike gives you many amazing vistas.
We enjoyed taking photos of the lighthouse from the front and also the back side. We returned to see the sunset and also the full moon rise. Very stunning!
Another must do is a trip to the little Fudge/Icecream/ and gift store!
One downside is there are no public washrooms, unless you pay $ 10 to tour the exhibit.
Enjoy!

Outstanding views of the coast. You can take a longer hike that takes you to the Lighthouse or drive up. Unfortunately the lighthouse was closed. Not sure if it was too early in the season or it is closed permanently but you can walk around the property and enjoy the vistas. Cute little gift and fudge shop on the premises.

Disappointed as we went out to Lighthouse to find it closed. The sign said it would reopen at 1:15pm which was fine but no one ever came back. We hung around for over an hour waiting to see the Titanic display but the Lighthouse never reopened. The view was fantastic though.

The lighthouse was closed on the day we were there. It was extremely foggy and windy and there were signs at one point warning against continuing down the path on one side of the lighthouse. Because of the weather we didn't explore any of the trails. We have no control over the weather so would have to try again another day.

Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the LightHouse and its surrounding property. The lighthouse Titanic Display was ok. Not interactive and no artifacts which we expected. The young man there was very friendly. The landscape, cliffs and rugged shoreline was certainly breathtaking. Overall we enjoyed the time we spent there.

We visited on a foggy, windy day and the lighthouse was closed, but we were still able to wander the grounds and y the oil photos of the outside of the lighthouse. The terrain this lighthouse is perched upon is incredible, with deep, high clefts carved into the earth, and waves crashing below its very dramatic.

This is the picture that everyone imagines when they think of a lighthouse; red and white with the cottage beside it. The wind is very strong at the point so be prepared.

Nice exhibit but sure is best in good weather.

When you're kicking back in Twillingate take a moment out of your busy day and drive up to check out the lighthouse at Crow Head. It's worth the effort and the vista overlooking the Ocean is second to none.
Also on the way up or coming back down stick your head in the door of the Café for a coffee and a snack.
You'll regret neither.
"ENJOY"!!

This lighthouse sits on a beautiful piece of property with AMAZING VISTAS! There is the lighthouse building, which was not open, but you can see whales or icebergs float on by from the observation area.

There is a gift shop with washrooms located inside.

There are trails to explore and or just stand and view the waves crashing on the steep cliffs.

It's a beautiful place and worth a stop.
