We went for the 4.5 hour paddle first thing in the morning. Water was calm and the weather was great. Our guide, Will, was awesome. He had a wealth of knowledge and talked about the formations and even pointed out several eagles. Even recommended great places to eat. We also completed the 1.5 paddle and a pint 4 days later. This was also a great paddle. Our guide, apologize for forgetting her name, but she was was awesome as well. Very knowledgeable on the history of the area and the rock formations. Would recommenced these guys any day of the week. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

We lucked out by having John as our tour guide. He was knowledgeable and clearly loves his home of Gros Morne. He knew right where to bring us to see an eagle's nest and also checked in frequently to make sure everyone was good and safe. The staff that helped us get prepared was also super friendly and helpful.

Keep your eyes open on the water, because we saw a six foot tuna leap out of the water! This is the best way to view the Tablelands.

We did Gros Morne Adventures' 7 days hiking tour and it was simply amazing.

We spent 4 days hiking various trails in Gros Morne National Park with Gros Morne Mountain as the final day. Also spent 1 day kayaking from their shop in Norris Point and did a boat tour on Western Brook Pond in the afternoon.

Everything was well organised so the only thing we had to concentrate on was doing the actual hiking.

Accomondation was in their own cabins in Norris Point with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The cabins were spacious and modern.

Our guides (and the Gros Morne Adventures staff in generel) were very friendly and helpfull. They were great at arranging alternative activities if anyone in the group decided not to do the planned hikes. For instance some chose not to do the Gros Morne Mountain hike and instead went on an extra kayaking tour with no extra charge.

Food on this trip is a separate chapter. Breakfast was arranged in the cabins with a selection of cereals, bread eggs, fruit etc. you could make. Healthy packed lunches were made for us every day to bring on our hikes.

Dinners took place at a new restaurant every night and was included. We had some amazing seafood.

All in all I would recommend Gros Morne Adventures and this trip. Newfoundland is really out of this world and Gros Morne Adventures really showed us the best of everything.

We did the family kayak tour along with the family we were travelling with. The pace was perfect for a mix of adults and kids, our guides (Zachary and Nicholas) were very informative, fun, and really nice with the kids. They also showed us the pair of eagles living across the bay - we had an excellent experience!

We attended the two hour guided kayak tour and had a fantastic time. The staffmembers who got us geared up were all knowledgeable and helpful. Our guide Noah brought us to spot some bald eagles, and we even ended up seeing some very large tuna fish off in the distance! Despite there being some wind, Noah knew exactly which route to follow to keep to calmer waters, and we felt completely comfortable and at ease the entire time. We did lots of hiking during our time at Gros Morne, so it was really cool to change it up with some kayaking and to see Bonne Bay from a different perspective!

My husband and I spent 6 days hiking and kayaking with Gros Morne Adventures in July 2022. It was an experience of a lifetime. The accommodations and food were excellent and the hiking experiences were superb. Our guides Jenna and Gaby were outstanding, helping to bring a group of strangers to bonded friendship. The hiking is challenging so be prepared! Would highly recommend. Laughed and sang the whole way through with guides and group.

My husband and I rented a double kayak for two hours. We were assisted by a very knowledgeable staff. She explained where we could paddle and the best way to do so. We enjoyed paddling to the the waterfall, and along the coastline.
This was one of the many highlights of our Newfoundland experience!

Beautiful and fun! We took a stable, dry, tandem kayak around the bay with guides. Very glad we did it and it was a beautiful day as well.

Two hours of fun. Despite the rain mid-way through our two our paddle we had a great time. The instruction on the cobble beach was adequate to get us going and the two staff members who were out with the group we paddled with, 10 of us all together, were helpful when needed. There was a large gap in ages and ability with our tour but that just added to the fun. The kayaks are in great shape, the pfds comfortable and memories long lasting.
