We took the tour in November 2020 in the middle of the COVID pandemic and Kayaking Puerto Rico was very accommodating to all of the needs that go with it. It was a fun and memorable experience. We took the tour on a full moon which is not ideal but they were prepared with tarps so we could still see. I plan to come back and do it again in better conditions to see the bio bay. They were also very responsive with any communication needs that we had prior to the tour. Would recommend! …

My brother and I had a blast on this trip. You leave from the bay, paddle down a creek and then arrive at the bioillumiscent bay. It was almost a full moon and cloudy which makes it difficult to see the bioilluminscents so they give you a tarp to put over your heads to make it darker which worked! It seemed that we were just about the only ones who had ever kayaked before . On the day we went it was raining and quite rough in the bay. We were fine but just consider this if you've never kayaked before. Also, they were two person kayaks- another thing to consider if you have an odd number of people in your group.…

Something you would never experience on your own. First, the guide gives detailed instructions. Then you paddle out through a mangrove forest once the sun is down, which is an eerie experience, until you make it to the bay. I would definitely do it all over again. The company also took many safety precautions to protect everyone such as providing life jackets, having lights on the kayak, and having multiple guides out at the same time.…

Our guides were all very attentive, careful, and positive the whole time. There were challenges to overcome, and they did a great job. Good communications in the lead up, and really knowledgeable. We did the combo rain forest /Fajardo Bio Bay (Bioluminescent Bay) tour, and the Culebra Kayaking / snorkling / Flamenco Beach tour. I highly recommend taking tours with Kayaking Puerto Rico. Jessie, Yanu, Luis, Edna, Michael, Noel, and Miguel all did great work, and all the others were great to get to know. Erica kept up on the communications to keep the information flowing. All good!…
