If you go to Culebra, you really need a vehicle to explore the island. We rented a Jeep from Carlos Jeep Rental. It was a very positive experience. Their fleet of rental jeeps are all new. The customer service agent was on top of everything and very responsive. I highly recommend them.…

I must say that my experience was outstanding. In this new era of COVID-19 precautions, Yaritza Alvelo was very creative on how to rent a Jeep and observe social distancing. Every communication with her and transaction was virtual and via text. Payment was done via the phone. I was able to receive pre rental inspection picture along with the odometer reading and fuel gauge. When I arrived to the island, I called her and she guided me to the airport counter where I picked up my contract and keys. She looked at me through the security camera and confirmed my identity. I inspected the vehicle and enjoyed my time. Upon returning the vehicle, I took pictures of the exterior of the vehicle, odometer and fuel gauge and sent it to her. I also sent a video of me dropping the keys to the drop box at the airport. Clearly, this company developed a creative method of observing social distancing and keeping up a business. She also provided advice on where to go to purchase groceries as well as gasoline.…

I booked online a couple weeks before my trip. Though contacting them pre-trip was challenging, once on the Culebra, everything went smoothly. They were at the port upon my arrival and drove me to the rental location. The check-in process went very smoothly. And, when we had to leave early because of the coronavirus and Puerto Rico's request that all tourists leave, Carlos Jeep Rental was very accommodating. We had a wonderful experience renting a jeep here. Even after we left our beloved travel book in the jeep, they went out of their way to mail it back to us to the mainland. We would definitely recommend them and use them again.
