A small observatory run by helpful & very knowledgable volunteers. We learnt so much - saw stars we had never heard of and had astrological patterns pointed out. Highly reccomend a visit to Mapleton Observatory.
Mapleton is one of many small towns within an easy drive of Brisbane/Sunshine Coast for relaxed day/overnight trips. Adrian and Lainie give a really informative tour of the stars using 2 telescopes, one rigged to a computer, exploring the wonders of our galaxy.
Did not know what to expect but thoroughly enjoyed the evening!
