Swimming in the summer and beach walks in the winter. I love this beach all year round. With long expanses of white sand and several grass terrace areas with trees, there is plenty of room to lay out and relax, whatever your preference. The beach...More

We stopped by Cottesloe Beach and it was a lovely sunny day. Even though it's Winter, the beach area was being enjoyed by plenty of people soaking up the sunshine and even a few who had braved the water. A very clean area, beautiful sandy...More

Cottesloe has always been a drawcard for us due to it's beaches, laid back non - touristy style, and closeness to Perth and Fremantle. There's a choice of 4 beaches from the busy main beach, to the wide sands of the quieter north end. As...More

We visit cott beach on average once or twice a year, quite dependant on whether we have family visiting. Lovely photo opportunities. A must visit for holiday makers.

Fish and chips by the sea purchased from the tea rooms, crystal clear water to swim in, fabulous on a very hot day. Lots of shady trees on the sand dunes if you are too hot in the sun.

Cottesloe is a favourite destination as the beach is so beautiful with clean white sand and plenty of places to sit and watch the surf roll in, plus there are heaps of great Cafe's nearby.

Very nice and clean beach. White sandy beach and crystal clear water. Tons of space on the beach and if it gets too hot you can catch some shade under the trees.

We went for the annual 'Sculptures by the Sea' and spent the whole day just wandering along checking out the art, and watching the surfers. It was most interesting seeing the works, and definitely a good exercise workout.

Best time of the year. Actually classed as Winter but trust me Perth in July is beautiful. Blue skies and 20 degrees what could be better.
