The perfect spot! More vineyards need to follow their lead and have a lovely little restaurant overlooking the grapes. We enjoyed both our food and the tasting flight of wines. We'd highly recommend this stop

Very easy going place, with heaps of really interesting facts about wine. It's so fascinating how the flavor of wine depends upon so many different elements. I had heaps of questions and all were answered thoroughly (even though I'm sure they have to answer the...More

This tasting room was easy-go and the wines on offer were some of our fave. The Pencarrow brand pinot noir at the low end of pricing @ $30 suited our taste. We tend to like lighter more fruit forward pinots with salmon off the BBQ....More

Martinborough Vineyard you blew us away! Was visiting Martinborough for the UB40 concert and thought we would visit some vineyards during our trip. It was drizzly weather and figured we would give it a go anyway... Visited the usual spots and then came to Martinborough...More

We drove from Wellington for a day trip. This was the vineyard I'd found online so we made a beeline for it but there are plenty of others. Not all do 'cellar door' tastings though. As I recall, if you don't buy wine then it's...More

We came to martinborough to do a spot of wine tasting as we heard it was a fun and a cheap thing to do. We walked into this vineyard not knowing much about wine at all. The owner was so funny and had us laughing...More

We are on a walking tour of Martinborough. The host at this vineyard did well to deal with a bunch of rowdy hens and keep us happy as well. The wines were excellent especially the Chardonnay and Pinot. I will try to source in Australia.

This winery is well known locally and now has two wine ranges, one made from older mature stock with a more complex nature and hence more expensive and the other made with the newer vines. There will be something to suit all tastes and budgets...More

Nice atmosphere, knowledgeable manager. Not too busy so we didn't feel rushed. Nice Pinot Noir but Pinot Gris just lovely. Can imagine sharing (or not!) this beautiful wine on a summers evening on the deck with a tasty cheese platter on the side.
